"Shipping took forever"
I ordered some pasta and it took almost two weeks to show up. Kinda frustrating not a great experience

"Ingredient details left me unsure"
I placed an order after checking out the ingredient page, but i still couldn’t really tell where some of that stuff is actually coming from. The wording felt a bit vague, like it was kind of saying something without saying it, if that makes sense. Maybe the product is totally fine, but for me, I want ingredient authenticity to be clear. I don’t think I’d buy it again

"My order showed up looking like it..."
My order showed up looking like it had been through a rough trip. The box was half open, the corners were smashed in, and a couple of the pasta packs had split open, so there was loose pasta all over the inside.
I get that shipping isn’t always gentle, but reading between the lines, this felt more like it was packed without much care to begin with. Disappointing experience, i don’t think I’ll order from the site again...

"Ordering was such a hassle"
I tried ordering pasta through their website, and it kept freezing right when I got to checkout. My card even showed a pending charge, but I never got a confirmation email or anything. I reached out to support, and they took forever to respond—well, not forever, but way longer than you'd expect, and when they did, it was just generic replies that didn’t really help. i wouldn’t bother again...

"Honestly, this pasta was such a letdown"
I bought De Cecco pasta thinking, okay, this has to be better than the cheaper stuff, right? But wow, I was so disappointed. The taste was just painfully bland, like it somehow managed to make even a decent sauce feel boring.

The texture started off okay, so I had a tiny bit of hope, but after a few bites it felt heavy and weirdly unpleasant to keep eating. My family was not impressed either, and dinner basically turned into everyone silently judging the pasta.
Maybe some people love it, and that’s fine, but for me it was absolutely not worth it. I felt like I paid extra just to be dramatically underwhelmed, and I won’t be buying from dececco.com again...

"Good pasta, but I still think it's overpriced"
The pasta was good, so I'm not saying the place is bad or anything. I just don't think the prices really match what you get. Maybe some people are fine paying that much, but for me it felt a little too expensive for a simple meal.

"Pasta turned mushy and cooked unevenly"
I was frustrated with the pasta I ordered from dececco.com. I followed the cooking time on the package, but it still came out all over the place, some pieces stayed too firm while others got mushy really quickly. It also clumped together way more than I expected. On top of that, I was charged right away and didn’t really get any helpful update after ordering, which just added to the annoyance. i wouldn’t buy this again.

I reached out to De Cecco customer service about an issue with my order and expected at least a basic response within a reasonable time. Instead, I waited days without getting any real help.
When someone finally did reply, it felt like they hadn’t properly read what I’d sent. I ended up having to repeat the same details again, and even then, I still didn’t get a clear answer or any sense that they were trying to sort it out.
I’ve always liked their pasta, which makes this more frustrating. If a customer has a genuine problem, the decent thing is to listen and respond properly. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t count on quick or helpful support if something goes wrong.

"Quality doesn’t live up to the promise anymore"
I ordered a few packs from De Cecco because I’ve always heard the quality is supposed to be reliable, but it didn’t match what they seem to promise. The pasta cooked really unevenly — some pieces were still hard while others got mushy way too quickly.
For the price, I expected a lot better. Maybe it was just a bad batch, but it definitely didn’t feel like the premium product I thought I was paying for. I don’t think I’ll be ordering again anytime soon.

I went on the site thinking I’d quickly grab a few pastas, but almost everything I clicked was unavailable. After a couple tries, I just assumed they don’t keep much in stock and gave up. Felt like a waste of time.

The box showed up totally crushed, and I’m sure that’s why some of the pasta bags were ripped open inside. Not ideal, but it definitely seemed like a shipping/packaging issue.

It kind of reminded me of the little shop near my old apartment where you’d see the same few things every time. There just wasn’t much to choose from, and the variety felt really limited.
